Installing & Using the OPEN Enterprise On-Demand Shopify App

This article provides step-by-step instructions to install, configure, and use the OPEN Enterprise On-Demand app for Shopify, along with troubleshooting tips and frequently asked questions.

1. Installing the App

To get started:

  1. Log in to your Shopify Admin Dashboard.

  2. From the bottom-left corner, go to:
     Settings → Apps and Sales Channels → Shopify App Store.

  3. In the App Store, search for:
     "OPEN Enterprise On-Demand".

  4. Click on the app and then click Install.

  5. Review and accept the permissions required by the app.

  6. Confirm installation.

     The app is now installed and will appear in your list of apps.

2. Signing Up on OPEN

After installation:

  1. Click on OPEN Enterprise On-Demand from your apps list.

  2. You’ll be redirected to the "Sign Up to Connect your Store" page.

  3. Sign up using your phone number or email address.

  4. Verify your account through OTP or email confirmation.

  5. Set up your Seller Account by entering business details and completing the verification process.

3. Browsing Catalog Products

Once you're signed in:

  • Browse available product categories and subcategories on enterprise.openwav.ai 

  • Select the types of products you wish to customize and sell in your store.

4. Submitting a Product for Review

To submit your customized product:

  1. Select a product from the catalog.

  2. Click to download the design template.

  3. Edit the template using your own design.

  4. Return to the app and:

    • Upload the completed template and design files.

    • Click Submit for Review.


5. Product Approval & Publishing

After submission:

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner.

  2. Navigate to My Products to track your submission status.

    • Approved products will be labeled accordingly.

  3. Click on an approved product to edit details.

  4. Click Continue to Publish.

  5. In the Store Selection popup, choose your target Shopify store(s).

  6. Click Publish.

Note: Products are added to your store but not automatically published to sales channels.
 Go to Shopify Admin → Products, select the product, and manually enable sales channels.

6. Orders & Fulfillment

Once a product is live:

  • Any customer orders placed via your store will be automatically received by OPEN.

  • OPEN’s partner network will handle fulfillment and delivery.

No manual input is required for order processing.
